As we prepare for the journey to adopt faith (2 days to go!) God is so reassuring to us!
From yesterday's first reading:Rom 8:12-17
For those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear,
but you received a spirit of adoption,
through which we cry, “Abba, Father!”
From today's first reading:Rom 8:18-25
We know that all creation is groaning in labor pains even until now;
and not only that, but we ourselves,
who have the firstfruits of the Spirit,
we also groan within ourselves
as we wait for adoption, the redemption of our bodies.
For in hope we were saved.
It's these little things like this that mean so much!
I imagine you both elbow each other a lot in church during the readings!! :-D
